We believe in harmony between family, the environment and industry.
Balance is the key. At Bonnie Doone the motto is to tread as gently as possible on the earth, using livestock to regenerate pasture and sequester carbon. Working in sync with nature and seasonal processes to ensure regeneration on an ecological level is priority, while producing nourishing beef. Bonnie Doone Beef is produced organically. Why organic? The Burnham family embody all that optimises health and wellbeing of the earth and all its creatures.
Bonnie Doone has been managed as an organic system, producing natural, pasture-raised, happy cattle for many people throughout Australia and the world. Beautiful nourishing beef direct from the earth to your dinner table.
It's about honouring the deep roots and beating heart of the landscape.
Our Philosophy
It’s About Family.It’s About Environment.It’s About Cattle.
At Bonnie Doone our philosophy is to give back more than we take.
Bonnie Doone is the homeland of the Burnham Family. Grant and Carly, both fifth generation beef producers share a deep love for the earth, ecological agriculture and real food. The free ranging kids; Lily, Ruby, Knox and Quade share in the joys and complexities of life in the Australian bush.
Healthy soils are the foundation of life and provide nourishment for all species at Bonnie Doone. There is an abundance of natural pastures and healthy balance of trees including mature Eucalyptus stands and untouched Semi Evergreen Vine thicket. The birds and native wildlife is testament to the richness in diversity at Bonnie Doone.
We are loving the Bonnie Doone Beef!
To know where it comes from, how it is grown, who grows it and how healthy the country is makes a difference.
